Welcome aboard Pirate DRS 2026 – a treasure trove of design research, creative pictorials, and stories that need to be told. While these submissions were rejected for the DRS conference, they represent diverse and valuable perspectives that didn't make it through peer review.
For one night only, we celebrate the work that pushes boundaries, challenges conventions, and opens new perspectives – even when they didn't fit neatly into the DRS conference. Every rejected paper tells a story. Every overlooked pictorial sparks imagination. Every alternative approach plants seeds for future work.

Ahoy researchers, designers, and creative rebels!
